Applications
One platform. Multiple applications.
From a single heat pump to the coordination of multiple buildings behind the same neighbourhood transformer.
Heat pumps
Heat pumps are thermally flexible. Gridlinq shifts domestic hot water production and thermal charging to moments with available solar power or grid capacity, within set comfort limits.
Batteries
Charge on local surplus or available grid capacity, discharge when the building or neighbourhood needs it. Charge and discharge power are capped at the connection.
Solar panels
Increase self-consumption of locally generated power by aligning heat pump, battery and other loads. This reduces unnecessary feed-in to the grid.
EV charging
Match charging power to the connection, generation and the rest of the installation, so charging doesn't coincide with other peaks.
Commercial buildings
Commercial premises often have multiple controllable installations behind one connection. Gridlinq monitors total power and allocates it across assets based on priority.
Neighbourhood optimisation
Multiple homes or buildings coordinate their power based on a local capacity signal. This layer is under development and designed for future integration with distribution system operators.
